My family runs a luxury self catering cottage for 8 people. In my summer holiday in 2023 I taught myself web design basics and offered to rebuild it on Wix.

As I went I sketched wireframes of the layout to make sure my family agreed all the information was categorised and presented clearly. I wanted it simple enough that any changes made without me would still look good.

The cottage is a timber frame newbuild with lots of sunshine and open space, so I wanted give the website the same clear and bright feel. I also helped with the photography and editing to ensure it kept this style, because photos are a major factor in booking holiday homes.
